About
I’m a freelance global health research consultant passionate about building equitable partnerships with communities, implementers, researchers and policy makers to tackle major global health and development challenges. I have thorough grounding in qualitative and quantitative methodologies and significant expertise in participatory research approaches.
I completed my PhD at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine in 2024, using a coproduction approach to explore different perspectives on mosquito-borne disease in Indian waste picking communities and co-develop locally adapted strategies for intervention. Before that, I completed an MRes in Global Health at Lancaster University and a BA in Biological Sciences at the University of Oxford.
Communicating complex ideas to different audiences is one of my greatest passions, and I have worked on research, evaluation and policy projects across a diverse range of settings in West Africa, South Asia, the Western Pacific and the UK. I am the co-founder of “Connecting Citizens to Science”, a podcast exploring community engagement in health and social research.
Please see my CV and list of publications for further information.
My key areas of interest and experience include:
- Health and gender equity

Alongside my work, I love reading novels, playing music, making things and spending time in nature.
